A very good question and we are glad you asked. Here are just a few reasons why you’re better off at Aqua Tots Swimming School than anywhere else:
- Our water is kept at a beautiful 32° (like a warm bath) and our change rooms are heated as well, so you and the little ones stay warm in the water even in cold weather.
- Our class sizes are small and our teachers are professional and committed to your child’s progress. Your child is assured to get more and better attention from our swimming teachers than anywhere else.
Our first goal is to ensure your child’s safety around water. Survival therefore is paramount and our program is focused on that. Once this is achieved, development of swimming skills follows. Our aim is for your child to swim 4 metres unaided by 2.5 – 3 years.
Our pool is indoors, heated to 32 degrees, shallow and safe for parents, children and babies. Our change rooms are heated for comfort through the cooler months of the year.
We have found that children achieve far better results with smaller classes as teachers are able to afford greater attention to each child. From a parent’s point of view, a relatively small higher fee has proven to be a great investment in your child’s water skills.
Yes. All our teachers are Austswim Royal LifeSaving qualified. The implementation of Australia’s leading swim school consultant, ‘Coach Cameron Roberts’ swim program ensures greater results. Our ongoing monthly teacher training enforces and enhances the benefits of Coach Roberts’ program.
The constant presence of our deck instructor also ensures standards are maintained.
Recognising a child’s efforts is crucial to their ongoing success in the water. Certificates are awarded on completion of each stage with ongoing assessments being made by the teacher involved together with the deck instructor.

Aqua Tots Swimming School offers swimming lessons to children of all ages from 4 1/2 months right through to high school. Private lessons are also available.
